"Frozen 2" Tickets Go On Sale Plus 3 New Posters
Now that November is upon us it's time for Disney to start hardcore promoting a new movie. In this case, the new movie is Frozen 2. This has been sort of a weird year for follow-ups to movies with sequels generally underperforming and even more so if there was a significant gap between the movies. Disney's own Maleficent: Mistress of Evil underperformed at the box office and earlier this year The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part failed to live up to the box office expectations of the first movie. Disney is looking to break that trend with Frozen 2 out later this month and yesterday the official twitter account shared a new teaser because tickets were going on sale today.
We got some cool new footage with that teaser and some more hints about the actual plot of Frozen 2. Disney has been playing this one pretty close to the chest and actual plot details are remaining pretty scarce. To celebrate the tickets going on sale Disney also shared three new posters for the movie from IMAX, Dolby Cinema, and Real 3D.
Summary: Anna, Elsa, Kristoff, and Olaf are going far in the forest to learn the truth about an ancient mystery of their kingdom.
Frozen II directed by Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee stars Idina Menzel, Kristen Bell, Josh Gad, Jonathan Groff, Evan Rachel Wood, and Sterling K. Brown. It will be released on November 22nd.
