George Stephanopoulos and Haley Atwell Among Cast For Agents Of SHIELD Season Premiere

stephanopolousThe folks at Marvel.com have released the official synopsis and cast list for the second season premier episode of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Looks like we're getting a lot of the new editions to the series right away and a few surprises with Haley Atwell appearing as Peggy Carter, Lucy Lawless as Isabelle Hartley and George Stephanopoulos as himself.  The season premiere for Agents of SHIELD is September 23rd.

"Shadows" – Coulson and his team are now wanted fugitives with limited resources–but that's not stopping them from keeping the world safe from powerful and unseen threats everywhere. However, with new members they hardly know, will S.H.I.E.L.D. ever be trusted again? Watch "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.," on the ABC Television Network.
