Avengers: Age of Ultron was not one of my favorite summer movies this year. It wasn't even my favorite Marvel summer movie this year, but it had a handful of great ideas, like casting James Spader as Tony Stark's unleashed id in the form of Ultron. Now that could be just because I'm a big fan of Tuff Turf, but I think one of the film's problems was a lack of time for Spader to really do his thing.
Which leads us to this clip from USA Today; a segment of behind-the-scenes footage found on the home video release of the film in which director Joss Whedon and Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige discuss the Twins. More importantly, there's footage of Spader on set in a motion capture suit being Spader:
One great thing about behind-the-scenes featurettes is a little gem like this, whether you were wild about the movie or not.
Avengers: Age of Ultron arrives on Digital HD September 8th and on Blu-ray/DVD October 2nd.
