Alfonso Cuaron has been talking up the importance of the sound in Gravity in interviews in Venice this week, highlighting to reporters that seeing the film in a theatre equipped with the Dolby Atmos system is as important as seeing it in 3D.
I'm sure the sound design and the score could very easily make or break Gravity and today we got our first proper listen to the music composed for the film by Steven Price.
Price has previously composed scores for The World's End and Attack the Block and his work here for Gravity sounds absolutely superb.

Gravity will be released in America on the 4th of October and in the UK on the 8th of November.
