Michelle Gomez – The Third Scot To Leave Doctor Who This Year

Steven Moffat is going. Peter Capaldi is going. And now Michelle Gomez, who has played the current form of The Master for three years as Missy, is also leaving after the series 10 finale two-parter…

She told the Radio Times,

"My pals are going so I'm going… Everybody's leaving, so I'm going too. I mean, what would I do without Peter and Steven? Who would I be?… Nah, it's done now. It's over. It's the end of a chapter."

And it's going to be a lot less Scottish.

We are expecting a multiple Master story before then, though. And it's Doctor Who, there are always open TARDIS doors to return for special occasions.
