There Are No Post-Credit or Mid-Credit Scenes in Alita: Battle Angel

It's a decent-length film. It is incredibly special effect heavy, in every single scene. Naturally the credits to Alita: Battle Angel go onfor a very long time. Now I'm the kind of person who sits through them anyway. But some will only do so if there are post-credit scenes to entice them. Marvel has weaponised that in the ten years since Iron Man and now some films like Pirates Of The Caribbean: Worlds End demand an audience wait till after them to get a proper ending to the initial trilogy.

James Cameron and Robert Rodriguez aren't those kind of people.

I can confirm that, while you may want the movie to continue past its ending and the smash of the logo, with credits to follow, there are no mid-credit or post-credit scenes to wait for. Not even an ALITA WILL RETURN or similar.

Which means you can be first to the toilets/car park/bus stop while everyone waits around just in case…

Alita: Battle Angel is based on Yukito Kishiro's manga Gunnm (also known as Battle Angel Alita). Produced by James Cameron and Jon Landau, the film is directed by Robert Rodriguez from a screenplay by Cameron and Laeta Kalogridis. The film stars Rosa Salazar in the title role, with supporting roles portrayed by Christoph Waltz, Jennifer Connelly, Mahershala Ali, Ed Skrein, Jackie Earle Haley and Keean Johnson. The film is released on February 6th.
