Promo Artwork For Aquaman's 2018 Movie Goes Online
Courtesy of our ever-reliable friends at the Aquaman Shrine, a look at officially commissioned promo artwork by Ivan Reis and Joe Prado for the upcoming Aquaman movie.
Aquaman is the sixth installment in the DC Extended Universe (DCEU) series of movies. Directed by James Wan, with a screenplay by Will Beall, from a story by Wan and Geoff Johns, it stars Jason Momoa with Amber Heard, Patrick Wilson, Willem Dafoe, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Temuera Morrison, Dolph Lundgren, and Nicole Kidman.
The artwork features Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Amber Heard as Mera, Patrick Wilson as Ocean Master, Yahya Abdul Mateen as Black Manta and Nicole Kidman as Atlanna.
Summary: Arthur Curry learns that he is the heir to the underwater kingdom of Atlantis, and must step forward to lead his people and to be a hero to the world.
Principal photography began in Australia on May 2nd, 2017, with most of the film shot at Village Roadshow Studios in Gold Coast, Queensland, and wrapped on October 21st, 2017. The film is scheduled to be released by Warner Bros. Pictures in 2D, 3D and IMAX 3D on December 21st, 2018.
