According to Radiohead's Thom Yorke, the band was asked to write a theme song for the most recent 007 film, Spectre. Though it didn't work out, they made their revised version available to fans.
It … suffers from a similar problem to the official version by Sam Smith. It never really starts. Which, considering the final film, makes sense. It seems everyone involved wanted a very contemplative song to match the film.
But much like Pulp's alternate song for Tomorrow Never Dies, it's interesting to hear what could've been.
