The Dutch YouTube channel for Universal have published this second trailer for Keanu Reeves' "pure fight" movie, Man of Tai Chi. It's almost twice as long as the last.
That seems to be at its best when its taking place in more or less featureless rooms. Perhaps Reeves should have just made a martial arts version of Cube or Exam and been done with it.
Still, I hope that there's more going on than the trailers have revealed. It wouldn't be the first film to suffer from grossly reductive marketing.
If you're interested in seeing how Reeves put his film together, the fans at Keanu World have compiled a wealth of B-roll and behind the scenes footage. Here are a few samples.
I expect Keanus World will be kept busy with their clip bank for months as the film rolls out across the globe. America can expect to see the picture sometime towards the end of this year; as far as I can discern, there's no UK schedule in place just yet.
