Sorry, Abramsbronies… Rob Liefeld Says There Is No "J.J. Cut" of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker

When director Zack Snyder was forced to leave Justice League before production was finished, Warner Bros brought in alleged fake feminist Joss Whedon to complete the film. Though Whedon promised to stay true to Zack Snyder's Vision of a grim and gritty universe of murderous superheroes, ultimately he ended up removing all of Snyder's badass Superman scenes and replacing them with scenes where Cyborg says "booyah." As a result of this injustice, Justice League bombed at the box office, causing DC Films President Jon Berg to pay the ultimate price, and effectively ending the DCEU, which was replaced with a more lighthearted Worlds of DC spearheaded by a Little Mermaid remake. In the wake of all of this, hardcore fans of Zack Snyder, known colloquially as The Snyderbronies, rose up and demanded that Warner Bros release the Snyder Cut of Justice League, a version of the film that restores Snyder's Vision. The movement has only grown over the past few years, with everyone from politicians to celebrities demanding the Snyder Cut's release.

Justice League Box Office

And now, it's all happening all over again. Yes, technically, J.J. Abrams was not forced to leave Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. And no, technically, his movie was not finished by another director who replaced all of badass Kylo Ren scenes with scenes where Chewbacca says "Wazzzzzzup!" But nevertheless, Abramsbronies, the colloquial term for hardcore fans of J.J. Abrams, have taken to social media to demand that Disney release the J.J. Cut of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. Could another powerful director have had his Vision destroyed by evil Hollywood executives who are holding an indisputably better version of the film in a secret vault, refusing to release it?

Sorry, Abramsbronies... Rob Liefeld Doubts Existence of "J.J. Cut" of Star Wars

Well… maybe not. At least according to superstar artist Rob Liefeld, a self-avowed Snyderbrony who has officially called for the release of the Snyder Cut on multiple occasions. According to Liefeld, Abrams, a member of the Hollywood Elite, is far too powerful to be pushed around by Disney.

So it looks like the J.J. Cut of Star Wars: The Last Skywalker may be a myth, which is good news, because it means we can all focus on what's really important: getting Warner Bros to finally release the Snyder Cut of Justice League!
