The Secret History Of Twin Peaks Teaser Offers Glimpses At FBI Memos, Postcards And A Log

Flatiron Books has released a new teaser (via Welcome to Twin Peaks) for the upcoming novel, The Secret History of Twin Peaks by series co-creator Mark Frost. The video offers tantalizing glimpses into the world of the series via items like a postcard from Norma Jennings detailing a trip she and Hank took to Hollywood (or, really, Burbank), a intake form concerning the Log Lady's stay in a hospital following a night in the woods and Gordon Cole's recent memo to Special Agent [redacted] about a crime scene with ties to the Laura Palmer case. It's all very keeping in the spirit of Twin Peaks.

The novel, described as a "vastly layered, wide-ranging history that deepens the mysteries of the iconic town in ways that will thrill disciples of the original series, and will prep fans for the upcoming Showtime series like nothing else out there," hits shelves October 18th. The revived Twin Peaks airs in 2017.
