SDCC '15: Marvel Just Showed Another Take Of That Daredevil Netflix Fight Scene

150417-news-daredevil4At the finale of the Cup O' Joe panel at San Diego Comic Con, the audience were treated to a different take of the famous oneshot fight scene from the second episode of the Netflix Daredevil series in which the character beats his way through a corridor of thugs to rescue a small kid.

One of six takes, it underlined how this really was a one take scene without cheats, though it was stripped of sound effects, so the feints of punches and kicks were now more obvious. There was a slower, more stretched out beginning, but much of the fight went as you remembered it. We were warned that the scene with the rescued kid at the end had a slightly different tone, it so it did. Instead of a small kid, Charlie Cox carried out a member of the production staff instead, to much laughter from the crew…
