Once again, another episode with way too many plots running around. Don’t think that I didn't enjoy the episode: between Liv getting kidnapped and Ravi finding the cure, I appreciated the creativity and story direction. But once again, the episode failed to answer serious questions from previous episodes.

Just when we thought the weekend wasn't going to bring anything spectacular to our door, we got a knock from the mailman who dropped off the latest Loot Tees package from Loot Crate for us to check out.
Meanwhile, Dale must answer for the escalating crime in Bristol Cove.

Welcome to our penultimate edition of Bleeding Cool's weekly recap/review of Freeform's Siren, Eric Wald and Dean White's mermaid fantasy-action drama That's right, we're almost at the season finale (props to Freeform for the large second-season pick-up) as we take a look at the series' ninth episode.

This week's episode of the CW's iZombie was nothing less than a tear jerker. I wish I would have gotten the memo and had time to pick up a box of tissues...but that’s okay: being cleverly adaptable, I used a roll of toilet paper instead. [SPOILERS]
But before the mayhem, we get John Dorie's (Garret Dillahunt) touching, heartbreaking backstory with Naomi/"Laura" (Jenna Elfman)- and quite possibly the best couple in the Walking Dead universe (okay…maybe second to Rick/Michonne).
So reacquaint yourselves with our review of Fear the Walking Dead's 'Laura' and let us know what you think:

Now that we've seen the smack-talking assassin in action, there's not the same surprise when we see the funny credits in the opening, or the gut-laugh response to the level to which they take the language.
That said, it's a fine sequel to the original and continues on in the same tradition.

If you're going to make a product, make sure it's on-brand. That's the lesson we've learned from Omin Dran of the Dungeons & Dragons podcast by Penny Arcade, Acquisitions Incorporated. So when we saw they had tapped Elderwood Academy to make some amazing branded dice gear, we were sold.
If you can let yourself get past the new actors in the shoes of old characters, and that it's not part of a trilogy, you'll probably very much enjoy the ride.

Deadpool 2 doesn't feel as game changing as the first movie, but a solid dose of jokes, nihilism, and fun action beats means the film is always a riot and enjoyable to watch.

A bit of a late entry into last month's subscription boxes, but we finally received our copy of Loot Crate's clothing line of Loot Tees for the month of April. Last month we absolutely loved the Ready Player One design that came our way, so we're anxious to see how well this one holds up.
