If we sat down and gathered all of the theories of what happened to characters on Lost, we'd have to dedicate an entirely new website to just that content. Fans have speculated all sorts of things, from the exact moment the timeline ends on the island to what happened when they all met up in that church in the series finale, and everything in between, about what could, should, and might have happened. But it's all speculation from fans. Well… most of it. Sometimes the cast members like to drop in their own opinions and insights, as actor Josh Holloway did recently.
Josh Holloway Has An Idea Of What Happened To Sawyer After Lost
Pardon the 16-year-old spoilers, but in case you didn't know, James "Sawyer" Ford (Holloway) is one of the few people who manages to truly escape the island alive, as he snagged a seat on the Ajira flight with Kate Austen (Evangeline Lilly) and Claire Littleton (Emilie de Ravin) as it darted off in the only direction in could to escape whatever magical bond it has on the planet. But what happens to Sawyer between the flight and the weird midnight mass gathering?
In a chat with MovieWeb, Holloway says, "I think it might have gotten better because he learned a lot and he grew a lot. I think he might have looked up his daughter. Yeah, Clementine, and tried to be something a little better than he was. Maybe it feels that way anyway. Because he wouldn't. He's gone too far to go back to being a con man, you know, and conning women. I think he was ashamed of that."

It's nice to think about all of the things characters from Lost would be doing, but in terms of what seems like the most realistic, Holloway's idea feels pretty spot on, especially for the redemption arc the character took. At the very least, we hope he got some glasses when he got home.
