Stargirl Preview: Will Wildcat Be the First Member of Courtney's JSA?

Legacy, destiny, and the roles we play in our lives have been some strong themes running through the first three episodes of The CW and DC Universe's Stargirl. The generational divides exist with more than just Courtney and Pat, though those two are clearly on different pages when it comes to her future as Stargirl. After getting caught up in a trap set by Jordan and fellow Injustice Society member William Zarick, Stargirl and S.T.R.I.P.E. are still able to save the day – but at a cost: Zarick's son and Courtney's classmate Joey is killed (with Jordan killing Zarick after the enraged father confronts him). While Pat sees this as a time to put everything Stargirl on pause, Courtney sees this as a moment to build her own Justice Society of America.

This brings us to the next episode "Wildcat", as Courtney starts her JSA recruitment drive with recently-met Yolanda Montez (who Courtney met the last episode; along with Jordan's son, Cameron. Hmmm…). Will Stargirl have the first seat at the JSA meeting table filled, or will the team fall apart before its even started? While Courtney's busy on that end of things, Pat's senses are tingling as he follows on some starting-to-look-legit suspicions (as you're about to see in our first set of preview images and promo below):

Stargirl season 1, episode 4 "Wildcat": THE FIRST RECRUIT — After realizing that she needs the extra help, Courtney (Brec Bassinger) sets out to recruit new members to the Justice Society of America – starting with Yolanda (Yvette Monreal). Elsewhere, Pat's (Luke Wilson) suspicion is piqued after a bizarre conversation with one of the town's residents. Amy Smart, Anjelika Washington, Trae Romano, Jake Austin Walker, Meg DeLacy, Neil Jackson, Christopher James Baker also star. Rob Hardy directed the episode written by James Dale Robinson.
