More On Mephisto And Spider-Man In Today's Silver Surfer #200
Recently Spider-Man/Deadpool seems to have revived the Spider-Man/Mephisto storyline. You know, the one that saw Mephisto bring back Aunt May from the dead, in return for Peter Parker and Mary Jane's marriage ever having existing.
And it was eventually revealed that Mary Jane Watson threw in a last minute clause that Mephisto accepted.
Recently Spider-Man/Deadpool, Mephisto appears to break that clause. As he stops by for a chat.
This wasn't exactly leaving him alone for the rest of his days.
It also contradicts something Joe Quesada once said about that scene…
In a subsequent issue, this was hammered home.
So how can Peter Parker regain the satisfaction that Mephisto has denied him?
Well in today's Silver Surfer #6/#200, he gives it a go with a simulacrum…
