Romesh Ranganathan Writes a Rapping Baal in The Wicked + The Divine Funnies
There's lots to love in The Wicked + The Divine Funnies, out today from Image Comics. But I did want to highlight this moment, written by British comedian and presenter Romesh Ranganathan, as Baal spits out some lyrics, part of a very funny scene with an emergent wingman, drawn by Julia Madrigal, coloured by Dee Cunniffe.
The Fresh Prince Of Baal Air. Folks, that's your next T-shirt. And perfectly in line with co-creator of these characters, Kieron Gillen and his awful, awful puns. Which Kieron also revisits with Jamie McKelvie, Dee Cunniffe and Matt Wilson.
He's no better in person, you know.
