Bearless At London Film And Comic Con
The London Film And Comic Con, taking place at Earls Court starting tonight and over the weekend, has had some interesting histories with comic book creators. The habit of booking guests into hotels near Heathrow airport, an hour away by public transport and only running a shuttle from the hotel to the show in the morning and the early evening caused Neal Adams last year to simply upsticks and book his own hotel for his family in nearby Kensington.
Today, however, it's the turn of the vendor to complain.
Long standing comic con vendor Gibson Grey, of the Lloyd And The Bear comic book wrote to me to tell me of his experiences,
having purchased a table only to be told that unless I show up on Friday and be set up before 6pm then I will lose my table.
Unfortunately this information isn't given when purchasing a ticket and I had experienced a similar issue with LFCC some years prior when I was sold a dealers table despite being a self publisher.
For those of us with a full time job that covers our hobbies like self publishing it's really not possible to take the time off to run for a few hours on a Friday evening.
So instead, over the weekend, he is running a #lfcc2014gota hashtag (standing for London Film Comic Con 2014 Gave Our Table Away) for different entertainment for is fans…
LFCC has given our table away! So follow us here this weekend to see what Bear does with his free time! #lfcc2014gota pic.twitter.com/UyAKZ3UuQC

The organisers have not responded to any of Bleeding Cool's enquiries made over the last few days.
So while we wait, here is a quick look at the latest of Grey's comics….
