Conan Has a Gambling Problem in Savage Sword of Conan #8 [Preview]

Savage Sword of Conan #8 is in stores this week from Marvel Comics, continuing the Conan the Gambler storyline by Jim Zub and Patrick Zircher.

In which Conan agrees to be the bodyguard of a wealthy man in a card game, only to be forced to take that man's place in the game when the man is poisoned and dies.

We learn all of that on the recap page… but again in the comic, for good measure.

We also learn the rules of the game, like Blackjack meets Magic the Gathering.

Conan isn't doing very well, but a wench has a suggestion…

Yeah, Conan should know by now that mysterious glowing magical gemstones rarely bring anything but more trouble.

And yet… Savage Sword of Conan #8 is in stores on Wednesday.
