The West Wing Star Martin Sheen, Dionne Warwick Shut Down RFK Jr Talk

No, Martin Sheen (The West Wing) & Dionne Warwick aren't attending a fundraiser for RFK Jr, and Sheen definitely supports President Joe Biden.

Stop us if you've heard this one before. "'The West Wing' star Martin Sheen (President Jed Bartlett) and iconic singer Dionne Warwick walk into a fundraiser for Robert F. Kennedy Jr's 2024 POTUS run…" We're guessing you probably haven't heard that one – and contrary to what Silent Majority 4 RFK Jr has been advertising, you won't be seeing that anytime soon either. Heading into the end of the year, a notice went out for an event on January 22nd to celebrate RFK Jr's 70th birthday that would include a number of familiar faces in attendance – including Sheen and Warwick. Well, it turns out no one told them that – and neither of them has any interest in it. "I don't know anything about this event. I did not agree to it, and I certainly won't be there," Warwick wrote in one tweet – followed by, "This is absolutely ridiculous. If you are going to lie on my name, at least lie about something cool." Unfortunately, Sheen didn't have immediate access to social media to shut down the reports – but castmates Bradley Whitford & Mary McCormack were kind enough to share his message with everyone – and Sheen's message made it clear who he's endorsing. "I wholeheartedly support President Joe Biden and the democratic ticket in 2024. Sincerely, Martin Sheen," was the message that hit social media earlier today.

"The Indian Wells fundraiser is a PAC event," the RFK Jr campaign told Deadline: Hollywood earlier today. "The campaign doesn't have anything to do with organizing of this event. The campaign has no knowledge of who is attending and can't confirm or deny anyone's participation, either as entertainment or as a guest." Here's a look at the tweets from Whitford and McCormack sharing Sheen's message of support for Biden:

And here's a look at Warwick's tweets pushing back on the idea that she would be attending the event:
