Doctor Strange vs. Brain Cancer in Dr. Strange #1 [Preview]
Doctor Strange is Earth's Sorcerer Supreme, but due to a recent story gimmick, he has had the proper use of his hands restored, and now he is also the world's greatest surgeon, which is as good a reason as any to relaunch the series with a new number one issue. Dr. Strange #1 is in stores from Marvel Comics next week, by Mark Waid and Kev Walker, and we've got a preview below.
The issue opens with the doc seeing a patient, a man who has severe brain cancer.
And apparently no other surgeon on Earth can help him… except for Doctor Strange.
Luckily, the doc has taken a new job at a local hospital.
And he's only called in for the most desperate cases.
Even still, that does take a toll on the work/life balance.
And all it took was a deal with a devil? What could possibly go wrong there?
Dr. Strange #1 hits stores on Thursday.
