Today's Thor #2 Introduces Erotic Goddess Lady Allmour of the Pleasure Lands
Social norms of female erotic beauty have changed a little over the centuries. Such as the 30,000 year old Venus of Willendorf statue.
Or Tawaret, fertility goddess from ancient Egypt.
While Freya, Norse goddess of fertility, is often portrayed in closer-to-modern society ideals, carvings of the time suggest otherwise.
It's worth pointing out that in Marvel's comics, she's meant to be Thor and Loki's mother. So for those boys, that's right out. Indeed, in the Lokasenna, one of the original texts from around the tenth century, Loki attempts to slut-shame his own mother over this kind of thing.
Today's Thor #2 introduces a number of divine or semi-divine characters as Thor and Loki travel through Hel. That includes Nidhogg, Dragon Master of Nastroid, Brun, leader of the soul-devouring Disir, Blackbone of the Draugr and most prominently, Lady Allmour of the pleasure lands. Who seems to have more classic routes regarding her pleasure centres…
What can I say, she's clearly meant to be hot.
Lady Allmour action figure anyone? How about one of those Sideshow statues…
