Hippolyta, Lex Luthor Confirmed For Justice League
Warner Bros recently sent out a "press kit" for the upcoming Justice League movie, a package containing information and photos about a production that is sent to websites that aren't the pariahs of the entertainment world. Naturally, Bleeding Cool didn't get one, but our friends at ComicBook.com did, and since our third cousin twice removed Amy Awesome works over there, we were able to get a sneak peak so we could bring this exciting news to our readers as well. Yes, it's true: Jesse Eisenberg is officially returning to the DCU! Eisenberg has been confirmed for Justice League, along with Connie Nielson, which means that Lex Luthor and Queen Hippolya will appear in the film in some fashion. So for fans who were on the fence about seeing DC's greatest heroes team up on the big screen, this news might push you over the edge. Justice League hits theaters in November, 2017. Here's the official synopsis:
Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman's selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.
