Speculator Corner: Avengers #30, Your First Female Thor

So, we know that Thor is being recreated as a woman, wielding the hammer Mjolnir. And that whatever there was of the original Thor, no longer worthy to wield the hammer, also survives.

But how long will the new character stay in her form? Tom Brevoort has indicated that the Avengers 2 movie won't alter that. But how long?

How about almost fifty years?

Because in Avengers #30 by Jonathan Hickman and O, set 48 years in the future gave us this suddenly-familiar looking Thor.

Though do note, she no longer has the hammer…
