Learn Why Winston Joined the Ghostbusters in Ghostbusters: Year One #1

With a new Ghostbusters movie set to come out this year, fans new and old likely have a lot of questions. Most important among them: will we or will we not be getting another release of Ecto Cooler? Because, for real, if there's no Ecto Cooler, there's no way we can support this film. Additionally, everyone with a license to make Ghostbusters stuff is likely looking for ways to cash in on the film, which itself looks to capitalize on nostalgia for the original Ghostbusters. That's why IDW is releasing Ghostbusters Year One, a comic book mini-series in which, somewhat ironically, a book publisher looks to capitalize on the events of the first film.

Each issue of the four-issue mini-series focuses on a different member of the core Ghostbusters team, and first up in Winston Zeddemore. The preview below tells us what Winston was up to just prior to joining the team and what caused him to seek a career in the supernatural. Check it out below. In anticipation of the new Ghostbusters feature film coming to theaters Summer 2020, we look back at the Boys in Grey's first year on the job, showcasing never before seen adventures!
