First Look At New Star Wars: Rebels Character Zeb
We met Ezra, now it's time to meet his partner-in-crime, Zeb.
IGN has the behind the scenes video introducing the sorta cat-like alien and one of the protagonists of Star Wars: Rebels. Among the highlights in the video, Zeb's look is inspired in part by Ralph McQuarrie's very early concept drawings of what Chewbacca might look like in the original Star Wars trilogy.
Zeb is "the muscle" of the burgeoning Rebel alliance, but is also smart. And while he butts heads with Ezra, he's also a pretty good mentor and protector of the young human. From the video, it looks like these two get into a lot of trouble and a lot of fun and oh fine, I'll check this show out.
Star Wars: Rebels airs as a one hour special on The Disney Channel this fall, before settling into its permanent weekly home on Disney XD.
