The first episode of Jeopardy! YouTube Edition is now online, with Monét X Change, Rebecca Black, and Brennan Lee Mulligan as contestants.
Article Summary
- Jeopardy! YouTube Edition debuts online, hosted by Ken Jennings and featuring three celebrity contestants.
- Monét X Change, Rebecca Black, and Brennan Lee Mulligan compete for charity, repping LGBTQ+ causes.
- The special format gives contestants just one round before Final Jeopardy, raising the stakes early.
- Fans hope this YouTube-exclusive Jeopardy! becomes a regular series with even more exciting matchups.
Sony Pictures Television decided to do a different kind of episode of Jeopardy! this week that aired exclusively online, as the first episode of Jeopardy! YouTube Edition aired last night. Hosted by Ken Jennings, the first episode featured drag queen Monét X Change (RuPaul's Drag Race, Traitors), singer/songwriter Rebecca Black, and comedian Brennan Lee Mulligan (Dropout's Dimension 20), as they all competed for fun and for charity. Both Black and Mulligan played for The Trevor Project, while Monét played for GLADD, to which Monét said, "The LGBTQ+ community will be taken care of today!"

Watch Three YouTube Personalities Compete For Charity in Jeopardy! YouTube Edition
Unlike normal Jeopardy!, the three only got to play one round before heading into Final Jeopardy. Which is kind of a shame, as all three looked like they could have kept going, and it would have been interesting to see who would have come out on top. We won't spoil anything, as you'll just have to watch the episode above and see who won this time around. Hopefully, enough people check it out to have more episodes and make it a regular thing like Celebrity Jeopardy!, or at the very least, let contestants play a second round.
