Venom #8 Twist Suggests a Symbiotically-Transmitted Disease That Will Affect Spider-Man, Scorpion and Deadpool?

Venom is the combination of the black Spider-Man symbiote and Eddie Brock – or Mac Gargan – or Flash Thompson – or all manner of other folk who have worn the costume.

And in today's Venom #8, we get the news that, like a STD diagnosis, that Eddie Brock needs to inform everyone who has ever, um, 'bonded' with the symbiote. It left a little visitor.

A little visitor who remains to inform the vast symbiote hive of what they are up to. And could be triggered at any time.

So that's Mac Gargan, Peter Parker, Wade Wilson, Lee Price, Ben Reilly, Patricia Robinson, Andrea Benton, Carol Danvers, General Ross, Doctor Octopus, Groot, Rocket Racoon, Draz, Mercurio, Jessica Drew, Norman Osborne, John Jameson who should be told – and who knows who else. Tel-Kar probably already knows.

Not to mention all the Venomized and parallel universe versions of characters who have bonded up as well. Maybe there should be a public information film made?

It's not just who you bonded with. but who they bonded with. And who they bonded with. And who they bonded with…

Although the Maker appears to have moved on.
