The End of an Icon in Avengers #688 (SPOILERS)

The Avengers classic founding members' statue has been undergoing a few changes of late.

Recently as part of a subterfuge from one side of the current Avengers: No Surrender battle, Voyager was introduced as a retcon character, inserted into the Avengers' history, and remembered by everyone — except for Jarvis the Butler. But that also meant an insertion into the statue as well.

Everyone's memories returned but it seems that the statue was more than an illusion, it was recharged stone and survived.

I mean. Until the Unstoppable Hulk got involved, obviously.

I'm sure Jarvis can put that together with some well-placed super glue. Oh, and we also get an end — and a new beginning for Quicksilver.

And a better idea of what next momth's new series Quicksilver: No Surrender will all be about now…
