9 New Character Posters for Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Gindelwald
Entertainment Weekly has released a bunch of new character posters for Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald and with these character posters we have learned a bit about where the characters are. We get hints as to why Dumbledore says he can't make a move on Grindelwald or where Leta Lestrange fits into this entire story.
Creedence Barebone: "Searching for Identity" – Troubled Creedence has literally run off the joined the circus as he tries to figure out who he is following years of abuse…
Albus Dumbledore: "Under Surveillance" – The film's trailer revealed that Dumbledore can't move against Grindelwald, that it must be Newt instead. Is this why?
Gellert Grindelwald: "Dark Wizard at Large" – A rather menacing shot of the nefarious wizard. Have you noticed the Deathly Hallows symbol at the bottom of the posters yet? Hmm…
Jacob Kowalski: "No-Maj of Interest" – Jacob is the rare American muggle (a.k.a. "No-Maj"), with full knowledge of the wizarding world. Perhaps that's why he's "of interest?"
Leta Lestrange: "Implicated by Prophecy" – Newt's former schoolboy crush with the notorious surname is apparently the object of a prophecy…
Newt Scamander: "Wanted for Questioning" – At the end of the first film, Newt helped capture the infamous dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald and has now published his famed beasts book. So what's the magizoologist in trouble for this time?
Queenie Goldstein: "Whereabouts Unknown" – We last saw Queenie and her newfound love Jacob in New York bakery bliss. Where's she run off to?
Theseus Scamander: "Under Ministry Orders" – Newt's brother (and Leta's finacé) is a Ministry Auror, so that makes sense…

The final trailer for this one is set to drop sometimes tomorrow. Maybe we'll learn more about these character beats from that.
Summary: The second installment of the 'Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them' series, which follows the adventures of Newt Scamander.
Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, directed by David Yates, will star Eddie Redmayne, Katherine Waterston, Dan Fogler, Alison Sudol, Ezra Miller, with Jude Law and Johnny Depp. It will be released on November 16th.
