Matt Angel Cast As Young George Lucas In Legends Of Tomorrow
Over two weeks ago, I posted that George Lucas (as a character) would be appearing on DC's Legends of Tomorrow. Today, EW.com has an exclusive that George Lucas (as a character) will be appearing on DC's Legends of Tomorrow.
When the show comes back on January 24th (its new night), the Legends have to go back to find out why George Lucas quit film school and never made Star Wars and Raiders of the Lost Ark. Since these films were the inspiration for Ray Palmer to get into science and Nate Heywood to get into history… the two of them loose their intelligence as the episode goes on. And I'm guessing that the reason for Lucas' change in direction might have something to do with one Rip Hunter.
Young George Lucas will be played by Matt Angel (Grimm).
Executive producer Marc Guggenheim told EW:
We were watching a cut of it, and I said to Greg [Berlanti] that 209 is either going to be the episode where we'll say that the show found a new gear in terms of how zany it can be, or it's the episode that's going to get us all fired. You're laughing out loud, I think with it, but it's like, 'Are we really doing this?' It's the '70s bar fight on steroids. The whole episode is that level of crazy.
