RT America – Why Not Spend Comic Con Money On A Charity?

Under the banner Comic-Con Groupies Escape Reality & Leave Others To Save Dark Economy, news network RT America ran a piece on San Diego Comic Con that questioned the entire basis of the show. Noting the homeless problem in downtown San Diego, and that attendance to the show cost individuals a thousand dollars or more, the news anchor asked why they didn't spend that money protesting Washington, or on another cause, or even just on charity.

Of course she did have to ask a cosplayer who, with a group, raises money for children's charities and hospitals… but that's okay, she was able to cut her off when she explained how much the show pumps in interms of taxes to the local economy..
