MeTV Toons added a slew of new animated shows to its ever-expanding lineup, featuring a variety of favorites from the '70s, '80s, and '90s, as part of its continued blossoming relationship with Warner Bros. from its giant library of IPs, including Looney Tunes, Hanna-Barbera, and DC. The additions include Taz-Mania, Moby Dick and the Mighty Mightor, The New Space Ghost and Herculoids, Krypto the Superdog, Speed Buggy, and Help!… It's the Hair Bear Bunch!, all premiering throughout February.

MeTV Toons Adding a Variety of New Cartoons to Its Lineup from DC, Hanna-Barbera, and Looney Tunes

The first new addition is Taz-Mania, which premieres on February 2nd. The series, which is based on the popular Looney Tunes character created by Robert McKimson and Sid Marcus follows the Tasmanian Devil or "Taz" for short, voiced by Jim Cummings (The late Mel Blanc voiced the original incarnation), and his family in Tasmania in a sitcom-style type setting In addition to Taz's family, there were a variety of original series characters introduced that expanded the series' universe. The series premiered on Fox Kids and ran for four seasons from 1991 to 1995.

Premiering on February 7th are Hanna-Barbera's Moby Dick and Mighty Mightor, and The New Space Ghost and Herculoids Show. Both cartoons featured separate adventures of their respective universes. MDAMM, which featured the voices of Don Messick, Bobby Diamond, Barry Balkin, and Bobby Resnick, lasted one season from 1967 to 1968 and prominently featured Mightor animated segments at 36, compared to Moby Dick's 18 across the series' 18 episodes. Space Starsanother name for the Space Ghost and Herculoids show, featured 22 Space Ghost segments, with the title character voiced by Gary Owens, on adventures with his crew and often helping his prehistoric-themed companions.

Also premiering on February 7th are Legion of Super Heroes (not to be confused with the 2023 feature Legion of Super-Heroes) and Krypto the Superdog, both from Warner Bros. Animation, which ran in the mid-2000s. Legion features a young Superman in the 31st century, who fights alongside a group of superheroes. Krypto features Superman's dog, who fights alongside his furry companions, who also possess their own set of impressive abilities to save the day. For more, you can check out the schedule.
