Now Walmart's DC 100-Page Comics Display Trays Are Being Flipped on eBay

It was a given that the Walmart exclusive 100-page comics from DC would be picked up and flipped on eBay by retailers and collectors alike. Dan DiDio talked about how the exclusive stories were aimed at the existing fanbase, not everyone has a Walmart they can go to, and they're not on Walmart.com or available digitally. Personally I am several thousand miles from my nearest Walmart — which is why the individual issues are selling from $15 to $30 each.

But what people are also managing to get away with from the store is the display cases that Walmart are meant to use to sell the comics from. And sell them on eBay too. I asked one seller and they told be that Walmart were happy to give it to them when they bought all the comics in the case.

Where they will put the second issues is unknown… after all DC Comics is increasing their print run.

But if you want your own, you can pick one up here… bidding begins at $40.
