Avengers: Armageddon #1, the launch of the new Marvel Comics Avengers event, Armageddon, on sale on the 10th of June, comes with an exclusive Magic: The Gathering card, packaged in a polybag, in the fashion of X-Force #1 back in the day. With the "Warstorm Surge" card drawn by Ryan Stegman. There will be a slip sheet inside the polybag, and the card will be between the slip sheet and the comic's back cover.

However, the production limitations for this comic book, playing card, slipsheet, polybag, and all, mean that a print run will have to be set early and may have licensing restrictions from Wizards Of The Coast on how many Marvel Comics can actually publish. Which has summoned the dreaded phrase "Note: Allocations may occur." And they may. They are still going to print hundreds of thousands of copies of this launch issue. But that's all…
