Is This The End For Stormwatch? (UPDATE)
It was meant to be the flagstone for the New 52, the comic in which Pandora's identity would be revealed and with Demon Knights as its past, made up of Justice League and Authority members, the lynchpin around which much would revolve. It has been the book that transformed Wildstorm, could it do the same for the New 52?
It didn't really work out like that, there was much rewriting, Paul Cornell left as a result of it, and recently cosmic star Jim Starlin was brought in to rescue the title.
But it seems it wasn't enough. February solicitations are still rolling out, but Stormwatch Vol. 4: Reset , 228 pages long takes in more issues that usual, issues 19 to 28. Often a sign that the game is up and there won't be a volume 5 to take the extra issues at the end.
Are we to expect a FINAL ISSUE note when the solicitations go live?
UPDATE: No "final issue" note, but there is a "final"… still inconclusive though.
