Multiversity Comics: The Incredible Disappearing Thor in the "Avengers Assemble" Teasers
But the real news to us is the difference between Bagley's full color finished work and his pencils. The colors, as you can see above, seem to have a gaping whole in the top part of the article. And in the pencils below you can see that whole is filled with Thor, who is now clearly missing. So something happened to make him go away. What is it? I'd wager we'll find out this Wednesday in Fear Itself #7.
Now he's bringing his socially conscious vision to the comic-book world with a twelve-issue Dark Horse Comics series called Orchid, with art by Scott Hepburn. The debut issue depicts a post-climate-change world stressed by flooding, pollution, giant mutant creatures, and rich overlords enslaving the surviving citizens. Two characters, a rebel with a magic mask and the titular young prostitute, find themselves about to be united in revolution.

The DC Superhero Statues of New York Comic-Con
Our own Stephen Totilo spent some time at New York's Comic Con today, and among his activities he's put together this video of some cases of super hero statues from the DC Comics booth. Many of the old favorites are in the beginning, but afterwards he moves on to some really cool and more out-there stuff, including some Mad Magazine version of the Joker and Wonder Woman, some neat black and white Batmen, and at least one more version of Starfire.
