Meet Venom's First Host: The Kree Soldier, Tel-Kar

Next week sees the publication of Venom: First Host #1, the first part of a weekly series telling the story of the Venom symbiotic parasite before he came to be part of the Secret Wars patchwork planet and discovered by Spider-Man.

And just as the main Venom series is looking at the symbiote's true nature and religious history, so this series looks at just where this Venom came from and how he was, at least initially, used…

Plucked from paradise and taken to the stars… and already damaged.

Made a part of the Kree/Skrull War…

And used for espionage — giving the Kree the ability to shape-shift like the Skrulls. And then do more.
