The DC Universe is a mix of fictional and real places. You have Metropolis and Gotham, you also have New York. And various cartographers have tried to make sense of it all. But the opening page of I, Vampire may have thrown an interesting temporal spanner into the work. You see we have Boston on EST.

Coast City on Moutain Standard Time

Where In The World Is Coast City? And Los Angeles on Pacific Standard Time.

Wait a minute, rewind. Coast City… on Mountain Standard Time? A timezone which, in the USA, is landlocked?  Coast City?

It used to be located in California, but the only way this could make sense is if Coast City was not in the USA at all now – but was in Canada. They've already made Booster Gold Canadian, are they going to do the same to a whole city as well?

And Coast City's own Hal Jordan too?

Parallax? Blame Canada.
