Justice League Dark: You've Seen The Trailer, Now Learn The Boring Details

all_four_3Yesterday, the world was treated to the trailer for Justice League Dark, which prominently featured Batman because everything is better with Batman, especially sales of DVDs and Blu-rays. The trailer also confirmed the film's R rating, which hopefully means we'll get another Batman sex scene like we had in The Killing Joke, because when we said everything was better with Batman, we also meant sex. Mmm.

Today, Warner Bros. revealed more details about the animated film. For instance, while we previously knew that the movie would come out in 2017, we now know that it will specifically come out on Blu-ray and DVD on February 7, and digitally on January 24. Even more exciting, we now know that there will be five different versions of the film available for purchase: a standard definition digital copy for $14.99, a high definition digital copy for $19.99, a DVD for $19.98, a Blu-ray combo pack for $24.98, and a Blu-ray deluxe gift set that comes with an EXXXCLUSIVE Constantine doll for $39.99.

We also know what special features will be on the Blu-ray version:

  •  – A Sneak Peek at Teen Titans: The Judas Contract: An advance look at the next DC Universe Original Movie, Teen Titans: The Judas Contract.
  •  – The Story of Swamp Thing (Featurette): Born out of the imagination of Len Wein and artist Bernie Wrightson, Justice League Dark's Swamp Thing had his own solo adventures throughout the history of DC. This documentary reveals the rich history of this fan favorite.
  •  – Did You Know?: Constantine origin, Color of Magic, Black Orchid, and Deadman Casting (Featurette): The creators of Justice League Dark will reveal surprising behind-the-scenes tidbits about thecharacters – and the actors providing their voices – during production of the film.

If you're buying one of the digitial copies, you're out of luck. You get nothing (except the movie).
