New Image of Rey from "Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker"
We're three months away from the release of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker and we still don't have that much content. We've had a trailer and a convention reel, a poster, but not much else. That isn't that surprising because if there's a movie Disney doesn't need to throw a lot of marketing money behind it's Star Wars. We should start to see more as we get closer to the release date though. Today, the official Star Wars Twitter account shared a new picture of Daisy Ridley's Rey looking like the straight badass that she is.
The tweet also came with the line "Something inside me has always been there. But now it's awake." It's all a bit too vague to really draw anything from it but maybe we'll get some new cast images over the course of the next couple of days. We saw some new images at D23 but Disney and Lucasfilm haven't released them to the public.
Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, directed by J.J. Abrams, stars Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong'o, Domhnall Gleeson, Kelly Marie Tran, Joonas Suotamo, Naomi Ackie, Richard E. Grant, Keri Russell, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, and Billy Dee Williams.
It will be flying into theaters on December 20th, 2019.
