New Mini-Featurette for Ant-Man and the Wasp Focuses on the Wasp
More Ant-Man and the Wasp promo is here to get you excited about the next movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. One of the big things this movie is bringing in is the Wasp as a main character. The official Twitter account shared what can only be called a mini-featurette that stars the Wasp.
It's really nice to see Marvel following through on the joke from the first movie (Hope is so much more suited to being a hero than Scott is) by putting her front and center here. At the time, and to an extent still now, it felt a little off base making a joke about a lack of female heroes when Marvel really does have a lack of female heroes in title roles.
Summary: As Scott Lang balances being both a Super Hero and a father, Hope van Dyne and Dr. Hank Pym present an urgent new mission that finds the Ant-Man fighting alongside The Wasp to uncover secrets from their past.
Ant-Man and the Wasp, directed by Peyton Reed, stars Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Hannah John-Kamen, Michael Douglas, and Michael Peña. It will be released on July 6th.
