DC Comics Reveals Every New and Vintage Comic Hitting DC Universe App Through February
DC Comics has revealed the full list of comics hitting their DC Universe digital binge-reading app over the next few months. DC's answer to Marvel's Marvel Unlimited, the DC Universe app gives readers the chance to read DC Comics and also watch DC TV shows and films, including shows produced exclusively for the app. Though the app launched originally with only a curated list of comics, earlier this year, DC announced that they would add their entire digitized catalog of classic comics, for a total of more than 21,000 comics, with the promise to add more when they're digitized.
Even so, DC's modern releases don't hit the service as regularly as Marvel Unlimited, but DC has revealed exactly which comics will be coming between now and February 4th, which features a mixture of new and old comics. Check out the press release below to see what you can read over the holidays.
DC UNIVERSE Gives Fans the Gift of New Digital Comics This Holiday
Winter will soon be here, and there's no better way to warm oneself than by settling in and reading digital comic books! DC UNIVERSE has plenty of new comics on the way for readers to enjoy as they lay cozily by the fireplace. And with the holidays just around the corner, DC UNIVERSE is giving fans an early present: by letting them know what titles are arriving on their favorite digital membership platform throughout the season, straight through to February 4, 2020.
For those who haven't had a chance to check out critically acclaimed hit series like Naomi or Young Justice, this will be their chance—as celebrated writer Brian Michael Bendis's Wonder Comics imprint will be arriving on DC Universe this winter. DC UNIVERSE will also have the first issue of Geoff Johns' ongoing Shazam!, the perfect jumping on point for anyone who enjoyed this year's action-packed film.
DC UNIVERSE will also be adding new chapters of Tom King's Heroes in Crisis and Johns' Doomsday Clock, two of the biggest events to rock the DC Universe in 2019. If fans haven't had a chance to read these titles' earliest chapters yet, they can now check out DC UNIVERSE'S vast comics library to catch up in advance. Subscribers can also anticipate the final issue of the Raven, Daughter of Darkness limited series, allowing them to binge-read this fan-favorite series penned by Raven's co-creator Marv Wolfman.
