How Marvel Is Goosing Orders Of Jim Starlin And Alan Davis' Guardians Of The Galaxy: Mother Entropy (UPDATE)

Guardians Of The Galaxy: Mother Entropy by Jim Starlin and Alan Davis is a five issue series all coming out in May alongside the release of the new Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol 2 movie.

And Marvel are trying to persuade retailers to order more of it. And maybe maintain those orders for subsequent issues at least a little mroe than they are doing.

So they ask retailers to take a look at their orders for Guardians Of The Galaxy #18.

Exceed those orders by 175% for Guardians Of The Galaxy: Mother Entropy #1 and get an extra 25% of copies for free.

Exceed orders by 150% for Guardians Of The Galaxy: Mother Entropy #2 and get an extra 20% of copies for free.

Exceed orders by 140% for Guardians Of The Galaxy: Mother Entropy #3 and get an extra 20% of copies for free.

Exceed orders by 130% for Guardians Of The Galaxy: Mother Entropy #4 and get an extra 25% of copies for free.

Exceed orders by 125% for Guardians Of The Galaxy: Mother Entropy #5 and get an extra 25% of copies for free.

It's certainly an attempt to prevent the instant drop off, especially from a series that retailers have to order all issue of long before they see the first one…
