Check Out This Explosive New Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2 Poster From Japan
Knowing that the release of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is just a little over two months away gives us mixed feelings. On the one hand, we're really excited for the sequel to what is objectively Marvel's best movie. On the other hand, that means we've only got two more months for clickbait articles about all the various trailers, toys, posters, and social media comments of its crew and actors promoting the film, and then, at most another two months of those articles after the movie is release. Well, and also probably another month or two later in the year when the Blu-Ray release is getting ready to come out. But that's it! Six more months, tops! We're going to miss you, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.
But there's no time to mourn right now, because director James Gunn has posted a new Japanese GOTG poster on Twitter! Check it out:
Gunn, a former professional wrestler, got his big break into Hollywood directing the first Guardians of the Galaxy in 2014. Gunn used his newfound influence to get fellow pro-wrestler Dave Bautista into the film's cast, and CM Punk a job writing a Drax comic for Marvel. The film was so successful that Gunn was able to give up his second job as a fashion guru and work full time as a director.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 hits theaters on May 5.
