While investigating the death of a private detective killed with an ice pick to the head which maintained central focus of the entire episode, Liv manages to find out her father is "Beanpole Bob," Washington decides against nuking 'New Seattle'; Fillmore-Graves gets infiltrated, supplies stolen, and Dolly Durkins (Jennifer Irwin) gets a powerful supporter.

Fillmore-Graves Archives
Apparently, Dolly has a serious disdain for zombies when we find out Murphy (Rohan Cambell) a soldier under Fillmore-Graves who is obviously undead is her son, and mommy dearest would like to see him nuked as well.
Probably one of the best and worst scenes of the episode is when Al (Gage Golightly) refuses soldier protection[...]
It seems that the lighthearted nature of last week's episode of CW's 'iZombie' will not be repeated this week with “Dot Zom,” as these previews show...
Ravi will work tirelessly on a cure that may be the only thing that can stave off widespread violence.
And through it all, Liv and Clive will continue to solve the murder cases that come across Clive's desk, the murders themselves becoming more and more tied to the societal breakdown taking place all around them.

Major continues to struggle balancing his loyalty to Fillmore-Graves with his conscious: a tug-of-war that comes into question at the end of the episode when him and Liv break up…..again Brains are being sold on the street for $20 a pop – though their business is put on hold indefinitely after Angus's new posse kills[...]
That's our message.
Blaine: Message received.
Chase is running the show and has established a quarantine zone via a wall to divide Seattle; policed by soldiers from Fillmore-Graves, who enforce a newly established midnight curfew Being a no-nonsense military type, Chase has zero tolerance for the turning of humans into zombies; which is pretty ironic considering he[...]
And through it all, Fillmore-Graves works to keep the simmering "zombies vs humans" conflicts from boiling over – but can they control the streets and troubles within their own ranks?
