Riverdale Season 3, Episode 5 Preview: "The Great Escape"

After one of the better episodes of the show period, Riverdale takes us back to the ongoing "Archie in prison" storyline for this coming Wednesday's episode. More underground fight rings, terrible prison disguises, and apparently his big escape attempt will take place this week. Thought they would drag that out a little bit more, but whatever. I am ready to be past this whole thing. Elsewhere, Jughead falls deeper into G&G, Betty tries to save him, and Kevin Keller: Delivery Boy? Should be yet another wild week, as we move one step closer to finding out the identity of the Gargoyle King.

After weeks go by with no contact from Archie (KJ Apa), Veronica (Camila Mendes) devises a dangerous plan to break him out of juvie. Meanwhile, when Betty (Lili Reinhart) learns that Jughead (Cole Sprouse) has taken their investigation into Griffins & Gargoyles a step too far, she finds herself in a race against the clock to save him.

Madelaine Petsch, Marisol Nichols, Ashleigh Murray, Mark Consuelos, Skeet Ulrich, Casey Cott, Charles Melton and Vanessa Morgan also star.
