Artem Chigvintsev Cast as Nikki Bella's Boyfriend for Total Bellas Season 4

Major casting news for the new season of Total Bellas has been broken by news organization Us Weekly. Artem Chigvintsev, who previously played Nikki Bella's dancing partner on Dancing with the Stars, has been cast in the upcoming season as Bella's new boyfriend.  Chigvintsev will do his best to top the performance by global entertainment superstar John Cena as Nikki Bella's boyfriend during a breakup on the last season of the show, which really showcased Cena's skills as a method actor by simultaneously playing out in real time in tabloids as the episodes aired, even though the episodes themselves were taped months earlier. Cena's performance arguably helped boost his movie career, catapulting Cena to the top of Hollywood's casting short list for movies they can't get The Rock to star in.

Us Weekly's report was attributed to a "source," which is totally not just the teasers that have been airing for the new season of Bella's reality show which show the star on a date with Chigvintsev. It is unclear whether the "source" was "watching the trailer," and Us Weekly did not respond to comment at press time because we didn't bother asking them to.

Clips of Chigvintsev's performance can be seen in the latest trailer for Total Bellas Season 4, which debuts on the E! Network on January 13th.
