Watch: Cast, Creators of 'The Expanse' Thank Fans for Saving the Series in Video Message

With the Amazon Studios panel in full swing at San Diego Comic-Con, Amazon has released a video featuring the cast and creators of The Expanse, thanking fans for saving the show from cancellation after it was cancelled by Syfy. Amazon picked up the show for a fourth season earlier this year. The season will debut in 2019.

You may not be at San Diego Comic-Con, you poor, poor soul, but you can still watch the video below:

Bleeding Cool Ace Reporter Erin Wilhelm is on the scene at the Amazon Studios panel. She'll be filing a full report later, but stay tuned for more breaking news. Here's some more info on the show:

The Expanse is based on the popular science fiction novels by James S. A. Corey and was co-created and written by Academy Award nominees Mark Fergus and Hawk Ostby (Children of Men). The cast of The Expanse includes three-time Golden Globe nominee Thomas Jane (Deep Blue Sea), Oscar-nominee Shohreh Asgdashloo (Star Trek: Beyond) and Steven Strait (The Covenant).

About Jude Terror

A prophecy once said that in the comic book industry's darkest days, a hero would come to lead the people through a plague of overpriced floppies, incentive variant covers, #1 issue reboots, and super-mega-crossover events.

Sadly, that prophecy was wrong. Oh, Jude Terror was right. For ten years. About everything. But nobody listened. And so, Jude Terror has moved on to a more important mission: turning Bleeding Cool into a pro wrestling dirt sheet!
