…You may not think you can get emotionally invested in these strange looking monsters, but you can.

Two: It has a language of its own. Cannon writes in a particular style with the dialogue for these characters. Some speak in a very lax, casual kind of way, which adds to their overall personality and creates a cast of well-rounded characters.

Three: The art style is something special. I could go on and on about how great the character designs are, but truthfully, the entire book is a colorful mash up of a thought provoking alternate universe.
